National Parks of Lake Superior Foundation

The NPLSF needed a wide range of marketing services to help amplify its purpose. As the philanthropic partner of the five national parks of Lake Superior, the mission of the NPLSF is to inspire people to create meaningful connections with our parks by funding programming, educational initiatives, and outreach efforts.


Rock Solid's marketing services included content creation, social media, public relations, and SEO.


Rock Solid approached the foundation about tackling a website refresh to support its ambitious fundraising and marketing goals. The redesign was completed rapidly and within the foundation's limited budget and included many features that helped the NPLSF reach its organizational goals.

In addition, Rock Solid helped the foundation plan and launch a successful podcast series that helped educate the public about the five National Parks that ring the greatest of the Great Lakes, meeting the people, touring the places, and learning about the projects that make these parks and body of water so remarkable.


Rock Solid helped produce the "Lake Superior Podcast," hosted by local park pundits Walt Lindala and Frida Waara. The 36 podcast episodes garnered hundreds of listens and loyal fans by ensuring that it was found on Apply podcasts.

Over time, these marketing efforts resulted in the sustained growth of fans and followers and year-over-year increases in donations.
